/usr/bin/asl -u >/dev/null 2>&1

To run daily?

asl has "asl -sk" on cron hourly so if there are updates .. you will see them
does not sound like a bad idea though :)

I can't find anything asl in the plesk server scheduled tasks.

I assume its run from root?

Can you let me know where it is in plesk.

Thanks!

Ah, I found him!

Is there anyway to verify that even though I found the asl and other files in the cron.hourly is there anyway to confirm it runs?

I found /var/log/cron.log and I can find that it runs at 1 min past everyhour, but just says cron.hourly so I assume everything in cron.hourly is run?

Thanks!

if you want to log smthin on a script like that you can add :

echo "I did run this" >> /var/log/logfile
or

logger "I did run this"

it will come up on messages
