OSSEC 1.4 has mysql support. I haven't used it yet though, its on the list for 2.2. I wanted 2.0 to not have any kind of database dependency so I could run it on any kind of server. The overriding theme of 2.2 is an "enterprise" release, with a lot of focus on data mining and more SIM-like activities.
