Hi,

I bought ASL for Dedicated Server and I've set it up on a fresh/clean CentOS 6 minimal server.
After reboot I can't connect to the server anymore.
I contacted the webhosts support, after a few checks of them they told me my server has a network problem may be caused by a firewall or sth. else and I should check this booting the server in recovery mode.
Could anyone tell me what / where the problem could be?

Thanks

Thats all they could tell you? Were they able to log into your system?

I contacted support with the problem.
That was the first answer:
Quote:
Dear customer,

we have just received a response from our data center technicians.

We are currently reviewing all details and will get back to you shortly.

Thank you for your time.

2 hours later I got this:

Quote:
.., the server has a network configuration problem, maybe caused through a false configuration of the firewall.
You can use the server-recovery (KVM) to fix this problem.

That's all I got.
Well, like I said, I just installed ASL on fresh CentOS 6 minimal server using the installer.
Has anyone an idea how I could fix that? I've installed ASL the second time on the server now, each time after reboot the server doesn't come online again...

OK, so it sounds like you can get KVM access. So dont reinstall anything, log in, and send this information:

ifconfig -a

iptables -L -n

netstat -rn

That will show the condition of your network, and your firewall rules.
