Hello,

Can someone explane me what ngix excatly means what is does?

when to use it ?

will it preform http requests ?
will it speed up?

if it's speeding up then it's a good choice to install....

It can replace apache, or act as a caching server in front of it. As a replacement, its not full featured or supported by plesk yet. But as a proxy, support for it (minimal!) was added in plesk 9.3
