I am unable to save ASL configuration (via web interface). ASL configuration window displays, I choose to allow a certain PHP function and click update button. It is updating it indefinitely without actually updating it. Is it a bug with new ASL 3.0.28-3.el6 ?

How can I alter PHP functions allowed manually via SSH? I tried to alter it in php.ini file, but after asl -f -s it returns back to "No".

Can you repeat the problem, it could have just been load related and I'm not able to repeat it here. Please let me know if its something thats continuing to occur.

I thought initially this was load related as clamav was scanning the server. But I stOpped it and the load went down to it usual low. Tried multiethnic browsers and was clearing browser cache to avoid caching problem. Tried restart ossec and torrid, yum reinstall asl asl-web.
Gave up hoping you reply soon.
Later same day tried again and it worked.

Anyway - is there a way to do changes to the asl configuration via the shell? I wasn't able to find it in your wiki nor google brought it up.

You can edit /etc/asl/config directly and then run 'asl -s -f' to let ASL apply the new configuration.
