I can see qmail-scanner but nothing for clamav clamd

Centos 4 is a dead platform, the Centos project dropped support for it a long time ago so you will be hard pressed to find anything that works or is supported with it. I highly recommend you upgrade to Centos 5 or 6, which are supported. 4 has known vulnerabilities in it and like I said no one supports it anymore.

No you cant upgrade from c4 to c5 or c6. A reinstall is required
