Is there a ClamAV solution for Postfix on Plesk 9.53/CentOS 4 ???

Nothing up to date, Centos4 was end of lifed some time ago.

have you still got a clamav solution for qmail /centos 4.4 /plesk 9.3 ??/

yeah theres qmail-scanner, but like mike said that platform is EOL

I can see qmail-scanner but nothing for clamav clamd

Centos 4 is a dead platform, the Centos project dropped support for it a long time ago so you will be hard pressed to find anything that works or is supported with it. I highly recommend you upgrade to Centos 5 or 6, which are supported. 4 has known vulnerabilities in it and like I said no one supports it anymore.

Can I use yum update to update CentOS - I'm worried how smooth the update would go ????

No you cant upgrade from c4 to c5 or c6. A reinstall is required
