Is it possible (with a script and cron) to check the deny.host entries on IP’s and than block IP ranges based on rules like:

If 5 IP from the same range, block the whole range.

Would be nice to set these rules or variables in a conf

"Last week a customer received a lot of bad things from a but load of IP’s from a certain hoster in the middle east, we had to block 255.255.0.0 before it stopped on the hardware firewall."

We have a blacklist function that will do this in the next ASL release, 1.9.9, which is available in the asl-2.0-testing channel now. We're wrapping up on the GUI updates for it today.

I realize this post is super old, but I was wondering if the GUI can currently be used to blacklist a range of IPs via defined range ex 192.168.0.0-192.168.0.255 or per CIDR ex 192.168.0.0/18

EDIT:

Just tested and it is possible to block by CIDR in the GUI.
