This is a minor release which includes the new fail safe installer and bug fixes.

Fail Safe install prevents system from hanging on a bad ASL kernel on boot. Should this occur the system will boot into the last known good kernel and will alert the designated contact that this has occured.

Also includes bug fixes:

Vulnerability Scanner: fixes false positives for stack protection
Enable/disable code for modsecurity, so if it is set to disabled, it actually will disable it.
ASL-firstboot sysconfig to no, to avoid a condition where grub.conf would be modified on an update

We agree. We're working to really increase the communication tools, from the support portal, knowledge base, the upcoming mailing lists and even a whole new website.

So if you have any other ideas please let us know!

Ah, did you mean a date column for the case list? (The cases should have date/time in them) If so, let me know and we'll work on the portal this week to add that in.
