I don't know about the rest of you, but when I visit this forum I click on View New Posts, then open each new post listed in a new tab.

I then go from tab to tab to view each message.

Unfortunately the new Share / Save whatsit at the top of the page is in the path of my mouse when I move from the tab bar the to content of the message, so each and every time I end up with that little window opening on my screen and then having to get rid of it before I can see the actual message. Maybe it is just the way I do things? Surely not?

Please could the darned thing be killed off, or at least relegated to the bottom of the page only, rather than the top and the bottom? It is driving me nuts!

(And personally I don't see any reason at all to post anything in this forum to any Facebook, Twitter, blog etc account, but I guess I'm in the minority otherwise the feature wouldn't be there to start with).

I know I'm being a bit negative here. Sorry. I'm ill again and I'm always a bit negative when I'm feeling sorry for myself :-(

Faris.

I don't have that problem and this feature does not disturb me.
I get rid of annoying things on sites I visit often by using adblock.
For example I use adblock to block some div's or images etc.
Maybe you could give it a try.
Get well soon!

I do the same thing with tabs, but the share save thing is nowhere near the tabs on mine. Maybe its a display size thing? I run at 1920x1200

Scott has a good point as I don't have issue either but run high resolution also.

Yes, I keep by browser window to 1024-ish wide in general. If I made it full screen the problem would probably not occur, but I find it uncomfortable to have such a wide window.

hehe. I've found a way to kill it off -- just use https and say Yes when IE complains about non-secure stuff. But that's not practical really.

I use IE for normal web browsing - FF for everything else. Remember that I'm a web-wrangler as well, and need to look at things in a way that the majority of people see them most of the time.

Faris.

Well, I use NoScript with FF so it is disabled by default.

I've tried it full screen in IE (1920) and it doesn't help - my mouse still ends up moving over the darned thing.

OK, so I'll just have to use FF for the forum from now on. Bah.

Faris.

Ask and you shall... eventually get a change to the code, after some hacking. :-)
