Just wondering what happened to the plan that users could have the ability to select either the standard or very latest rule sets?

What was the intent? Sort of a 24 or 48 hour delayed ruleset to make sure any serious rule problems never get onto a production machine? Or something else?

There was going to be an option so you can select either the 'standard' delayed rules or the latest rules.

It all happened last time there was that rule issue and there was going to be some option either in ASL or in your account you could choose the rules.

You already have the real time rules. The delayed rules are delayed at least 90 days - and no one using ASL is using those (you cant even configure it to use delayed rules).

I think what you are referring to are our "un-released, screaming edge, mikes feverish dream set and pending further testing - dear god its full of stars!"(TM) rules which we do plan to make available to those that want to test them - we just dont have a channel or "switch" setup for that yet nor do we have a channel for them. We definitely want to make them available and have not forgotten, it just requires some changes to ASL and some new GUI options to support it.

And no, those rules aren't that bad - I just re-wrote all the primary rules and am doing some testing to make sure I didnt miss anything.

Yes that's them! Maybe it truly is full of stars, as long as monoliths don't start multiplying on my desktop!

Okay so it's still on track for the 'testing' rules I guess like testing repository.

Yep, we will be putting this out as I really want to make the experimental rules available for anyone that wants to try them out. We just need to figure out the best way to do it so that users know what it means and dont accidentally turn them on.
