I have CentOS5 with ASL and Plesk 9.2.3. We have a customer who has not received an email from us with an attachment. The attachment is a pdf document. He receives emails without attachments. And he used to receive these monthly emails with attachments OK.

We sent, and traced, two emails each with an attachment to two different email addresses of his on different domains which appear to have been received by their mail server:

So I've told them that their domain host company has received the email and they should check with them to see what has happened to the email. Can I do anything more my end to try and force it through when there are attachments.

As we said, emails without attachments are getting through OK.

many thanks in advance for any help.

Whilst happy in my own mind that the problem above lies with the 3rd party's host, I'd love comment from the experts. Can anyone help?

The remote host is saying that they received the message successfully here:

"Remote_host_said:_250_OK"

So definitely not a problem on your end. That message code would also mean that it passed by any smtp layer checks (greylisting, rbls) with no issues. Thats as far as the debug messages will get you from your side.
