Atomicorp Unveils Faster, Smarter Unified EDR Platform
Discover Atomicorp’s unified endpoint detection and response platform with a redesigned GUI, rapid scanning, multi-agent vulnerability detection, data loss prevention (DLP) and automated compliance reporting.
Atomicorp is proud to announce the upcoming major release of Atomic OSSEC 7.0, the latest evolution of Atomicorp’s unified endpoint detection and response (EDR) platform. The new version introduces multi-agent vulnerability scanning, expanded SOAR capabilities, and a significantly redesigned graphical user interface (GUI), along with added security support for Alpine Linux and SUSE Linux.

Faster, More Powerful EDR and Endpoint Vulnerability Management
Atomic OSSEC 7.0 dramatically accelerates large-scale security operations. Administrators can now scan hundreds of endpoints simultaneously across multiple operating systems, making vulnerability detection and remediation faster and easier in large environments.
“Atomic OSSEC 7.0 is faster, too,” said Scott Shinn, chief technology officer at Atomicorp. “Vulnerability and other scans that once took days across thousands of devices can now be completed in anywhere from minutes to a few hours.”
A Completely Redesigned Management Interface
The new GUI delivers a richer, more intuitive management experience. Controls are better organized and consolidated, and administrators can quickly filter and search endpoints, specify agents and operating systems, schedule scans, and generate compliance reports from a single interface.
Key Features in Atomic OSSEC 7.0
Atomic OSSEC 7.0 comes with:
- Centralized agent management: Bulk agent deployment and updates from a single console, allowing administrators to roll out policy-based updates across multiple endpoint groups simultaneously.
- Enhanced fleet management: Improved visibility and control over devices, agents, groups, APIs, logs, and system components across the environment.
- Flexible scheduling and streamlined agent updates: Administrators can easily add agents, update agents, and schedule scans directly from the GUI.
- Expanded Linux platform support: Security protection for Alpine Linux (commonly used in container deployments) and SUSE Linux (widely used in enterprise environments, particularly in Europe).
- Endpoint firewall management: A new drag-and-drop interface simplifies the creation and management of Atomic OSSEC endpoint firewall policies.
Unified EDR Platform Security and Compliance
These improvements make Atomic OSSEC 7.0 faster, easier to operate, and more scalable, while extending the platform’s existing antivirus, host-based intrusion detection system (IDS / HIDS), file integrity monitoring (FIM), active response, audit controls, vulnerability detection, data loss prevention (DLP), and compliance reporting capabilities.
Atomicorp is now accepting orders for Atomic OSSEC 7.0.
