Thank you for registering for “Q&A: Why file integrity monitoring (FIM)?”
This is a live event sponsored by Atomicorp. We just sent you an email with the details of the event. You will receive reminder emails as the first event gets closer. At the time of the event, you’ll get an email with link to watch the event. Thank you and we look forward to you joining us!
Charity’s Corner – Live Q&A on FIM Applications
When: Sep 7, 2023 1:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
Please save a calendar reminder for your event.
This virtual event is the first in a series of events providing an interactive forum in which questions about host-based intrusion detection, emerging threats, vulnerability management, active response, and compliance, and additional topics will be fielded and explored.
This first event will focus on file integrity monitoring for maximum value toward compliance and extended detection and response (XDR). It will explore ways to:
- Configure FIM for its full potential including real-time scanning and benchmarking for anomalous changes made to files coming in or going out.
- Orchestrate across endpoints, operating systems, and application interfaces to better detect malware and malicious changes made to files and monitor system behavior.
- Deepen and accelerate FIM to detect small strings of malicious code and anomalous behavior and trigger active response prior to handoff in real time detection across Linux, Windows, and AIX systems.
- Support zero trust initiatives by layering detection and filtering at every connection and preventing lateral attacks from endpoints presumed to be secure.
- Address compliance. Deploy FIM to address the controls in NIST 800-53 and PCI DSS, and meet specifications in data security and privacy standards and regulations such as CIS, GDPR, JSIG, HIPAA, and more.
- Apply advanced FIM and compliance support for legacy systems such as HP-UX, Solaris, and end of life (EOL) Linux and EOL Windows.
